Named after its founder, Herman Upmann, a German who moved to Havana in the mid-nineteenth century to open a bank and a cigar brand. The bank closed a century ago but the cigar brand still remains as one of the largest in the Habanos selection. Like Hoyo de Monterrey, the cigars are predominantly light and smooth, perfect for new and exploring smokers.
