A very approachable, budget friendly line from H Upman.
Listed as light to medium by Habanos, though I personally find it to be firmly a light cigar.
Well-constructed for the price, interesting and elegant vitola.
There wasn't much development in the first 2/3 of the cigar. The last third was very shaky, with a hint of bitterness gradually enveloped the cigar.
Overall, very one-dimensional in term of flavors. Plus, these cigars from H Upman are quite prone to being plugged in my personal experience. But if you can find a good example, it'll make a decent daytime smoke, perhaps with a coffee.

A very decent cigar from the H Upmann line, a good budget smoke for the novice cigar smoker. As the strength of the cigar is light to medium, it makes a a very well constructed cigar for its price. The draw overall was perfect, not to tight and not to loose. Creamy notes throughout the smoke, which were my favourite remained the same half way through it later had hints of wood and was nutty and lastly like all Cubans, got peppery spicy towards the last third.

For the price I paid, this is a truly delicious cigar.

The first third was a little harsh, but moving into the 2nd and final it was a beautifully smooth, rich, fresh smoke.

I look forward to buying again.

128. H. Upmann Majestic

2018-04-12/ ANDREDIAS95

Store bought at Mellgrens Fine Tobacco.

Location: This review was made indoors in a cigar lounge.

Wrapper: Milk chocolate brown, silky smooth with slightly protruding veins and a oily feel.

Construction: A softer feel but with a good feel.

Cold draw: Hay note.

1st third: Medium to darker roasted coffee, toasted bread and a slight caramel sweetness.

2nd third: Keeps an steady flavour all the way through.

The burn: Burns a little wonky but still a firm slow burning, white gray-ish ash.

Smoke: Light smoke with a cool feeling on the tounge.

3rd third: Keeps the same all the way.

Conclusion: A good afternoon cigar, nothing special just a regular week cigar.

Result: In my book this is an 87 point cigar.
