This is my second encounter with this cigar, the first being exactly a year ago. My initial impression was that it strayed from the traditional flavor palette typically associated with Partagas. Given that "legado" translates to "legacy" in Spanish, I was inclined to label this cigar as a "not-so-much-legacy" Partagas. However, a year later, my perspective has dramatically shifted.
The cigar begins with a mild to medium body, offering elegant yet subtle earthy and cocoa notes. But within the first centimeter or two, the experience transforms entirely. The cigar evolves, unveiling prominent notes of wood and leather. The earthy undertones remain, now complemented by delicate hints of cocoa and nuts. As it progresses into the second third, the body intensifies from medium to full. The draw is impeccable, producing a rich, abundant blue smoke. What sets this cigar apart is the striking amber-hued smoke that rises from the foot—a rare and captivating sight.
An absolute masterpiece, with flavors that linger on the lips long after each puff.
Though it's a pricey stick, this cigar is destined to become legendary.

Already a wonderful cigar, which I smoked down to 1.5 cm. Dark, oily wrapper. Mid-gray stable ash. Powerful, with aromas of chocolate, wood, earth and coffee. I made it last for 90 minutes. A few more years of aging and I expect it to be perfect. If you come by this cigar, buy all you can get.
