Churchill size Cigar always has its present in your hand
the long size, with medium size ring it is beautiful
it for long night out with friends, I do not enjoy it alone
so the Reserva been harvest and stored for 3 years before rolling, all the acidity is gone
this stick was calm smooth, with our fluctuation, touch of notes every while and then hit your tongue

314. Romeo y Julieta Reserva Cosecha 2008 Churchill

2019-05-22/ ANDREDIAS95

From my own collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Romeo y Julieta is a current pre-Revolution brand, launched around the 1850s and was officially registered in 1873.
The range comprises medium strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.
Numbered Black lacquered Boîte Nature Box of 20 cigars (5000 made).

Size: 7×47, Churchill (Julieta No.2).

Wrapper: Milk chocolate, oily and silky-smooth with slightly protruding veins.

Construction: Firm but still a little giving when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light cedarwood note.

1st third: Starts with a dry cedarwood note with a light touch of medium roasted coffee and toasted hazelnuts.

2nd third: It’s evoling with a spicy cedarwood note taking the primary spot.

Burn: Burns fairly sharp with a firm and stable whiteish ash.

Smoke: Medium light smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Flavourwise it keeps the previous parts note profile.

Duration: 19:50-21:00, 1h 10min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 92 point cigar.
