Aged 10 years with remaining fellow cigars in a box this one has been exceptional. Seems as if it has grown stronger over the years, starting with earth, coffee, cream and a slight note of pepper. Even burn and perfect draw from beginning to the last 2cm (could not put it down..). In essence, 2 hours of joy.

Smoked a 2021 example and was not too impressed as of yet, maybe it needs more humidor time. Started out with a bland tobacco taste and only started opening up after the first third with the classic hoyo flavors. I could smoke many more interesting sticks for the price.

One of the best big sticks I know . If I had to criticise, it would be that it is perhaps too mild.

I totally agree. Is it a bit dull I ask myself?

This cigar fell flat for me, especially in the flavor category. If I recall correctly, flavor was bitter, but empty. I was not a fan of the profile and it did not burn well despite being new and perfectly preserved. I was a little disappointed, because it is a very handsome stick.

Great shame

I rather agree! I will write a full review but frankly think this cigar is trading on historic brand value rather than current taste.
