Two releases of Ramon with almost the same size in 2013, this one and the other for Andorra (please read my review), I like this one better
Beautiful cigar with milk chocolate wrap and walnut taste, and great aroma
Good ash and construction, well balanced and you can feel the harmony between the leafs
Good for one hour
RA is known as full body cigar, this one is not, it is medium

A pocket rocket! This tiny petit robusto is packed with flavour, the typical Ramon Allones nuttiness, accentuated with a strong spice and dry fruitiness. Huge smoke output, great burn and draw. These were released in 2013 so the added age has done wonders for smoothing everything out nicely.

302. Ramon Allones Edición Regional Países Bajos Specially Selected Robusto Corto 2013

2019-05-10/ ANDREDIAS95

From my own collection.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:

Ramón Allones is a current pre-revolution brand, established between 1837 and 1845.
The range comprises full strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.
Numbered Slide Lid Box of 25 cigars (2,000 made).

Size: 4×50, Petit Robusto (Petit Robustos).

Wrapper: Nutty, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light oakwood note.

1st third: Starts with a light oakwood, milk chocolate creamy note and toasted bread.

2nd third: Keeps the same smooth flavours from part 1.

Burn: Burns hasty and fairly sharp with a grayish stable and firm ash.

Smoke: Voluminous white smoke with a cool feelings on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: No changes.

Duration: 20:10-21:00, 50 min.

Conclusion: A mild to medium bodied cigar with a mild strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 90 point cigar.
