Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.
Information: Ramón Allones is one of the big names in the history of Habanos.
Founded in 1837, it is also one of the oldest brands still in production. Cuban tobacco, from the Vuelta Abajo area. This cigar was a limited edition for 2015.
Size: 5.3×47, Gran Corona
Wrapper: Milk chocolate, silky smooth, small veins.
Construction: Firm even feel all over when lightly squeezed.
Cold draw: Light hint of cedarwood.
1st third: Starts with a light toasty note of wood and bread, followed by a pine cone and nut aftertaste.
2nd third: Keeps the same.
Burn: Burns steady and fairly sharp, firm white-ish ash sadly not so stable.
Smoke: Voluminous gray smoke, with a medium heat feel on the tongue with a light draw.
3rd third: Keeps the same smooth toasted wood and bread flavour all the was till the end.
Duration: 21:25-22:50 1h 25 min
Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.
Result: In my book this is an 91 point cigar.
