Another day and another cigar this time coming from @cigarsunlimited_london lounge. I am trying for the first time the #punch Punch , probably the best named cigar ever, that has recently been quite difficult to get hold of but seems to now be available. It’s a medium strength vitola coming in 46 ring gauge by 5 5/8 inches. The wrapper is quite course and rough though the draw and burn are perfect. Really interesting flavours from the outset including a vanilla flavour in the first third that was a surprise before resorting back to the woody/charcoal flavours you would expect from a Punch. Would I buy a box - probably not as I prefer the #elreydelmundo Choix Supreme which is a similar option but I am really glad I finally got to smoke one!

Perfect burn and amazing balanced flavors. This should definitely be stacked in any humidor.

First cigar I've ever smoked, burns nice and slow and has a pleasant and light draw. The flavors of this cigar are very well balanced. Every puff tastes great and it leaves a great taste after you've finished with this one. Would highly recommend to anyone who is curious to try this great cigar

The cigar so nice they named it thrice. The Punch Punch Punch is a Corona Gorda, a size that was all the rage prior to the introduction of the Robusto which itself is now deemed a petite cigar fit for children. The 46 ring gauge is approachable however, despite being considered a medium bodied blend, the flavour is far from it. The tangy, tart taste present in the first third subsides before it has time to become overwhelming. It makes room for notes of coffee and a grassy sweetness in the second third before pepper, spice and leather round of this superb Cuban Puro. It’s popularity has dwindled over the years with only a few die hard fans still enjoying this cigar. Nowadays aficionados tend to gravitate towards the Cohiba Siglo IV or Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.1, cigars of the same size and most certainly an equal quality. Construction is almost always superb and usually on the firmer side, ideal for a person like me that prefers and sufficient amount of resistance to the draw. Due to being packaged in labelled boxes, more often than not the Punch Punch sports a box pressed profile which I find satisfying. A great cigar full to the brim with flavour.

Thank you for this great review. I searched for the Punch Punch since you mentioned it in one of your delightful videos and was more than excited when I found it this week - so much so that I had to smoke it the same night.

I just started my journey of enjoying cigars and this one just gave me so much joy - especially the leathery notes. Didn’t mind the firm construction and that I had to „work“ for the draw.

Safe to say I am looking forward to read/view more of your content.
