A lovely cigar strong earthy notes, peppercorns and dark chocolate. Very finely packed and draw is very pleasent unlike many other review. However i must say i enjoyed their open regata more all in all still a great treat!
Great to pair with brandy. Would recommend due to the size to pair with a drink that does contain some sugar as it made me feel a little queasy (would blame this on the wrong dinner as well)
I’m not expert but any means, but an okay cigar… a very tight draw with a tight packed cigar… very earthy tones in the medium taste range! There wasn’t a lot going on for me, definitely not a bad cigar, but I didn’t feel there was enough to keep me interest. As it is packed so tight, it is quite a long smoke considering, so I felt there should be more to be engaged.
In my humble opinion Montecristo was not successful in this cigar line, they are trying to have their own line like the Epicure in HYDM, they are very successful in the Edmundo line, the mixed is very distinguished, this cigar have chocolate and nutty flavor and aroma, hard draw and not to smokey enough.
