Another day and another cigar - a first time smoke of the #montecristo Especially No.2 - a very civilised 38 ring gauge that’s a little more medium in strength vs. My normal #porlarranaga Monte Carlo. The draw of this cigar reminds me of trying to drink a thick shake through a normal straw… so it ended up being quite hard work to smoke - though it did improve from the half way mark. I found the taste quite woody with a little spice in the mouth which was pleasant. Next time I will leave the cigar out to dry out a little should it be as tightly packed as this one. Overall I did enjoy it though I do rate the MC a little higher. #cigaraficionado #cigar #cigarlife

An elegant smoke. I feel classy just holding it. In my opinion, this blend is richer and stronger than standard numbered Montectisto vitolas. Snug draw, but with great burn and excellent construction. This specimen comes from a 2021 box. There is great aging potential.

I recently picked up a box and such a wonderful format. Flavors are awesome, exactly what I hoped for so I bought a second box since they’re not often available.
