In terms of looks my trio is wonderful, they smell delicious too. However, the first of them that I have smoked was rather underwhelming and the final third developed over tones which I did not much care for. I believe it was a little ammonia so I suspect they are just a bit young and need some time.
The remaining two are going to have a long rest and I shall revisit in a year or two.
Nice cigar for a lunch or coffee sweet and citrusy taste with a hint off coffee and coco.
Best enjoyed with a partner or friend.
The most recent Siglo II I smoked was under filled from top to bottom. At least it was consistent. The draw was far too easy for me but the smoke output was superb. It filled the room in a matter of minutes with the unmistakably deep aroma of a Cuban puro. Being the flagship brand of Cuba and the most expensive to come out of the country, I expected more. This Petit Corona is at least £10 more expensive than any of its competitors. I was definitely short changed. I was, however, greeted with a delightfully creamy first third with hints of vanilla. The cigar developed from a light to a medium body as I continued, somewhat reluctantly, and a strong taste of celery became prevalent. Peculiar but satisfying. Within half an hour I had passed the band despite smoking at a snail’s pace. I was disappointed with the rate of combustion. This is a cigar I will revisit but with expectations not held quite as high.

I actually tried this cigar shortly after yourself and your father did a smoke along with the Cohiba Robustos, your video review prompted me to try one asap, lovely cigar but a little to big gauge wise, this put me on the Cohiba track and led me to the smaller gauge Siglo ii and was highly delighted. Thankyou Max
