The Topes. I have seen people smoke two on the trot. A sort of double gunning with a cigar and why not? They are just so good. Rush, roasted nuts, deep mellow flavours and a delightful dry high snick on the roof of the mouth. Trinidad is certainly the gourmand brand and deservedly so and the Topes is in my view the delicacy at the top of their range. It’s the perfect size too and thick and chunky as we all seem to demand. It is even slightly voluptuous. For those of us who have tired of the super skinny look these days this is like a 50’s Italian movie star. Jewels, long satin green or red dress etc. or a mature French gentleman - a retired general with a flowing white moustache. Regardless these Topes are fabulous and can be smoked at any time of the day - the ADC in its essence.
