306. San Cristóbal de la Habana LCDH Ofícios Aged 2009

2019-05-14/ ANDREDIAS95

Gifted my a friend.

Location: This review was made indoors in Mellgrens cigar lounge.

Information:
San Cristóbal is a current post-Revolution brand, launched in late 1999.
The range comprises light to medium-strength cigars, using tobacco from the premium Vuelta Abajo region in Cuba.
Varnished Boîte Nature Box of 25 cigars.
A 2006 release. Discontinued 2011.

Size: 5.3×43, Corona (Dalias Cortas).

Wrapper: Nutty, oily and silky-smooth with tiny veins.

Construction: Firm even feel when lightly squeezed.

Cold draw: Light hint of oakwood.

1st third: Starts with a dried fruit, soft hints of cinnamon and cedarwood.

2nd third: Flavourwise it’s the same but with a little bit more intensity.

Burn: Burns sharp with a firm and stable white ash.

Smoke: Light smoke with a cool feeling on the tongue and a light draw.

3rd third: Keeps the same from part 2.

Duration: 18:15-19:25, 1h 10min.

Conclusion: A medium bodied cigar with a medium strength profile.

Result: In my book this is an 88 point cigar.
