My Biography

I've been smoking cigars since 2009. I started with a non-Cuban first. My second cigar ever was an RyJ Churchill and from then on I was on board the Cuban train. Looking forward to meeting other cigar smokers from all over the world.

*NOTE: Given my country's ability to successfully snag cigars in the mail, I regretfully am not open to trading.

What was the first cigar you ever smoked?

Joya de Nicaragua Antano.

Which is your desert-island cigar?

Montecristo A

What is the worst cigar you’ve ever smoked?

Non-Cuban. Rockey Patel / Drew Estates Java. Horrible experience.

What is your greatest cigar-related memory?

My first trip to Havana back in 2012 with friends.

What is your favourite cigar brand?

If I had to pick one it would be Partagas as there are so many from that marca that have made it to my humidor.

What is your favourite cigar accessory?

My Xicar V-Cut.

What is your favourite cigar shop?

I'd have to say the Partagas Factory shop in Havana.

What is your favourite lounge?

Same as above. The Partagas "VIP" lounge is a great place to meet cigar smokers from all over.

What is your favourite method of ignition?

A lit, cedar strip if I'm smoking indoors(rare). Otherwise, toasting the foot with a lighter and then cutting have yielded some interesting results.

What is your favourite cut?

V-Cut by far. There's only a few cigars that I have that don't benefit from it. Otherwise, it's been my go-to.
