My Biography

My name is Mario I'm 21 years old and I live in London.

Cigars have been around me all my life and I have great memories of being around my father surrounded by a tasty cloud of blue smoke.

I indulged in cigars in the last couple of years and immediately fell in love with them.

My greatest fear is realising I am out of cigars on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

H. Upmann Coronas Major

Which is your desert-island cigar?

Hoyo de Monterrey Elegantes LCDH unless I'm stranded with two other friends, then it's the Partagas Culebras!

What is the worst cigar you’ve ever smoked?

A Vegueros Entretiempos, the only box left at an airport shop (luckily it was only a box 4).

What is your favourite method of ignition?

I normally use a soft flame lighter and like to take my time and enjoy the ritual. I make sure the cigar is fully lit before I take the first puff.

What is your favourite cut?

I like a straight cut and normally use a nice pair of cigar scissors.

I've also been known to effectively use the cap of a cigar tube to cut a cigar when my cutter is left behind.
