A supremely delicate cigar and very much up my street. I’m a huge fan of the Palmas Extra,
Laguito no.1 and Laguito no.2 vitolas and this isn’t far off. These cigars are rather difficult to come by, being a discontinued Vitola, and even harder to come by are examples that draw properly. The one I had most recently, alongside our proprietor Mr Dominic Johnson, was a brilliantly tight draw up until half way. I know many people wouldn’t even attempt smoking a cigar with this construction but I ‘struggled’ through and was eventually greeted with the sweetness of caramel. Not the most complex of cigars however, considering it’s age, it was extremely pleasant. A sweet, smooth cigar without a hint of pepper or spice. Don’t give up on this cigar! I promise it will satisfy you.
