My Biography

I first started to dabble in Cigars regurlarly from 2010, it took me experimenting a whole range mostly new world cigars.

My palate is very akin to a range of flavours but the Cuban Cigar is the epitome of the perfect roundness that is the world of Cigars.
My best moment is to smoke amongst my weekly company of friends and fellow aficionados around Mozambique.
The new world Cigars are the most available in our market so i am very much versed in them as well.

What was the first cigar you ever smoked?

my first memory of a proper puro, was the Epi No2, the floral and cedarwood notes were such an awakening.
but my first tobacco Memory is of me sneaking into a nightout with a King Edward tubo from my Father's drawer, the aromas were Pleasant enough bit the nigh mas obviously very short.

What is the worst cigar you’ve ever smoked?

I goto such a knock from the LFD double ligeiro, but have since made peace with it.

What is your greatest cigar-related memory?

Lucky enough by the time i got married i was knew deep into Cigars already , it just happen to be the same year i met a cigar roler of local tobacco and through having a rapport with him i managed to have about 8 boxes of his best, so the memorable Day has that aroma as many a guests enjoyed the petit corona Amadeus.

What is your favourite cigar brand?

Trinidad, the can't do nothing wrong.

What is your favourite cigar accessory?

my Xikar cutter, if you leave your home with nothing else the cutter will always do justice to your cigar that Day.

What is your favourite cigar shop?

Pedro Portia in Johannesburg and our very own Loja do Aficionado in Maputo.

What is your favourite lounge?

In Mozambique we enjoy our Cigars mostly outside. But i have a small air condicioned room in my office where i end up enjoying a lot of Cigars with my partner (we do find crisis to make us go into the situation room and light something).
But the best in Town is the lounge at this fine dining rodízio called Bom Garfo, perfect chairs and an extraction system makes enjoying a Cigar a Great experience.

What is your favourite method of ignition?

cedar spills, but since we enjoy cigars outside mostly a jet lighter is a must have
