My Biography

30-something Marketing Agency Owner Who Loves His Fiance, Poodle And Fine Cigars.

Based in Geelong, Australia.

Always open to sharing and trading cigars, catching up over a drink, and sharing my experiences with both cuban and non-cuban cigars.

What was the first cigar you ever smoked?

I think it was in 2012 at Barranow's smoking lounge, and it was a Romeo y Julieta No.3.

What a time to be alive.

Which is your desert-island cigar?

I don't think I'm up to answering this question yet. However, if I must, I'd still say the R&J Wide Churchill or the Cohiba Esplendido.

What is the worst cigar you’ve ever smoked?

This is an easy one: the EP CARRILLO LA HISTORIA. How on earth is this overly-flavoured thing considered to be one of the best cigars going around?!

What is your greatest cigar-related memory?

My favourite cigar smoking memory was last year, having a ball with a best friend at Siglo Rooftop in Melbourne. We were discussing business, and found an apt metaphor for launching and exiting a business through the Wide Churchill at the time.

What is your favourite cigar brand?

It's a tough one to say at this stage. I must confess, I do love Davidoff's work (despite it being non-cuban nowadays), however I am very fond of the work that Punch does. Their cigars are flavoursome, elegant and lack the wank that comes from more pretentious varieties.

What is your favourite cigar accessory?

My vintage Dunhill Rollagas lighter (of course).

What is your favourite cigar shop?

Online: CorporateCigar.com - great range, prices and service.

Bricks & Mortar: La Casa Del Habanos in Melbourne is fantastic.

What is your favourite lounge?

Siglo Rooftop Bar. Lounges are far and few in Australia, sadly...

What is your favourite method of ignition?

Soft flame. Haven't quite mastered the matches - yet.

What is your favourite cut?

V-Cut. I believe it eases the plugged cigars better.
