I worked in a cigar shop (Mellgrens Fine Tobacco & Fine People Since 1823) between 2014-2021, sadly it ended as the pandemic bankrupted our business.

I joined Cigar Journal Tasting Panel in 2016 and have done plenty of reviews for them since, I also started my own cigar review blog in 2016.

What was the first cigar you ever smoked?

Romeo y Julieta - No. 1 AT, on my 18th birthday and I hated it, so I decided I needed to try other cigars to figure out why people smoked cigars.

Which is your desert-island cigar?

To many great cigars out there to choose from, can't say at this given moment in time.

What is the worst cigar you’ve ever smoked?

I have a list of the worst cigars I've ever smoked, won't write them here. Get to know me if you want to know.

What is your greatest cigar-related memory?

9th December 2015, I was only 19, I got the opportunity to enjoy a vintage cuban Davidoff - Dom Perignon from 1984. That evening was filled with delicious cigars and champagne.

What is your favourite cigar brand?

From Cuba I would say Trinidad, it's the brand that has brought the most memorable cigar experiences over the years.
From the rest of the world, it would be Casdagli, I've followed the brand since 2015 and have smoked and reviewed almost all their releases.

What is your favourite cigar accessory?

I'm torn, I like to switch between all my accessories so I don't use the same tools every time. But the cutter I've used the most is the Palio guillotine.

What is your favourite cigar shop?

There are many great shops out there, I like to get to know the owner and employees at a shop before I decide if they are good or not. The contact is so important in establishing trust between the customers and employees.

What is your favourite lounge?

My favourite lounge don't exist no more, it was the lounge at Mellgrens Fine Tobacco in Gothenburg, Sweden. It got nominated as top 5 best lounges in the world at Cigar Journal Trophy 2017.

What is your favourite method of ignition?

I love to light a cigar with a long match, but rarely I get to sit indoors now days to get the pleasure of using them. So I have to say a single jet flame is the way to go.

What is your favourite cut?

Straight cut is the only cut I do, since I'm a reviewer I like to keep it consistent.
