My Biography

My first visit to Davidoff of London, owned by the inimitable father and son duo Edward and Eddie Sahakian, took place as an infant. I remember vividly trying to catch the blue smoke of the supremely elegant panatela Mr Sahakian was smoking, sadly to no avail. I enjoyed the experience so much that I decided to return as a young adult for a week’s work experience and have yet to leave. In all honesty, I don’t see myself ever doing so.
With the support of Edward and Eddie, and of course the esteemed Jemma Freeman of Hunters and Frankau, I became a Master of Havana Cigars in 2018. I believe this to be the only qualification worth having.
Since then I’ve developed a passion for cigars from all over the world, although my interest lies mainly with those of the Cuban variety.
