Another day and another cigar this time is a first time trying the Diplomáticos Private Collection II - España Regional Edition 2020. For me it’s right on the upper limit of Ring gauge I like - it has a lovely soft draw and some of the most unique tastes I have experienced. There is some light spice in the first third with a real fruity flavour staying for most of the smoke. I will probably pick up another 2 sticks as the price point is a little steep for me to pull the trigger on a box.
Olympic Gold from Habanos with this DIPLOMÁTICOS Colección Privada II Edición Regional España, the best ER we've smoked to date. Textbook construction, perfectly treated tobacco, tasty, evolving and balanced blend for a medium to medium/high strength. Its is worth considering buying the whole box.
Absolutely beautiful smoke. Transitions from caramel to brown sugar to an almost minty flavour. A dry fruitiness running start to finish. Like a Quai d'Orsay/Ramon Allones hybrid. Great draw and burn, lots of smoke. These have flown under the radar lately, a great cigar.
