2021 Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes Edición Limitada

With the last Hoyo de Monterrey Edición Limitada release having taken place a full ten years ago back in 2013 (the sensational - and still hugely popular - Grand Epicure), we at Cigar Keep are delighted to be able to share the news that another most welcome release has finally taken place! The debut of the spectacular new Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes No.4 was, of course, unavoidably delayed from 2021, but it is, as of now, happily available across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom at all stockists of the Habanos portfolio.

Only the eighth Hoyo de Monterrey Edición Limitada to be launched since the turn of the century, the Monterreyes is a Maravillas No.4 size, 5 ¾” (145mm) x 55 ring gauge, and comes superbly presented in boxes of ten that each feature a beautifully varnished slide lid.

Made entirely by hand, and using long filler tobaccos - aged for at least two years - from Vuelta Abajo in Cuba's renowned Pinar del Rio region, this typically light-flavored yet well-rounded blend contains just a hint of sweetness which perhaps comes from its slightly darker wrapper.
