We've got another amazing unboxing video here at Kirby Allison and we are excited about the contents of this particular package! Kirby Allison received this box in the mail from the company Cigar One in Switzerland and wanted to share with you what was inside. Today we unboxed a beautiful Romeo y Julieta Fabulosos No.2 Coleccion Habanos 2016, 2017 El Rey del Mundo Kon Tiki (ER Los Andes) and Cohiba Coronas Especials PLM-MAY.07. The Colección Habanos is one of Habanos S.A.’s most expensive releases of the year. Launched in 2001, the cigars selected tend to be large, non-production vitolas that are then packed in boxes that are designed to look like large wooden books. This Romeo y Julieta Fabulosos No. 2 was the 2016 “Coleccion Habanos” release. It is a beautiful vitolas, which is essentially a double corona. This cigar features a slightly larger ring gauge of 52 vs the typical 50 and measures 7.5 inches long. Each year, Habanos S.A. releases several limited edition regional cigars designed for specific markets. The 2017 LE for Los Andes, which is considered the region of Bolivar, Peru, and Ecuador, is an exceptionally special cigar and reminds me of a bucket list cigar that got away from me, the 2007 LE for Mexico, the Edmundo Dante El Conde 109. It was a 50 gauge by 7 1/4 inch extra vitola, which refers to the special tapered head, which is a combination of two different types of caps: a belicoso cap and a normal parejo, or corona, cap. So, it’s actually a hybrid of my two favorite types of Bolivar Cigars, the Royal Corona and Belicosos Finos.
