Bell & Ross x Cigar Keep: An inaugural event

We invited friends and members of the Cigar Keep and watch communities to discover the delicate alliance between cigars and watches. Images by Freddie Foulkes

Bell & Ross are masters of narrative and purveyors of great taste. The moment they discussed the idea of exploring how cigars and watches are kindred spirits, and that they both create shared moments and memories between friends. This event was designed to celebrate this alliance, with Carlos Rosillo, C.E.O. of Bell & Ross bringing his much-loved in-house cigars for everyone to try. Both made in Cuba as a private blend, the Cubata Macho 56, a grand robusto had a great, rich taste, but we were especially impressed by the gargantuan Cubata Real 56, a double corona with a 56 ring gauge. The venue was the Havana Cigar Exchange on St James's Street, which paired the cigars with brilliant cocktails and champagne and had a lot of seasoned cigar smokers comment on the beautiful premises and terrific selection of cigars in the humidor. We were delighted to have had august smokers such as Nick Foulkes, Hani Farsi, Gregory Pons and Jeremy Hackett. An elegant way to kick off Cigar Keep's event calendar and a joy to have met so many who have become part of the community we wish to create
